I think I need to do the same thing on my tin grill monstrosity, probably sooner than later. I need to look again at my steering box and column - since I want to keep the stock mid ‘70s box and column, not sure if I have to keep the rag joint too.
Is this the setup (2 u-joints) you are thinking about?
