If you go to Home, More, then Model Year Detail, there is a link to a purchase sheet for a 1968 WM300. Base price was around $4k. Add the options and it got pretty close to $5k. I bought a new Ford F100 in 1968. Complete cost was around $2600. Nowhere near the truck the WM300 was/is.
