Maybe use some sort of warning device, to notify the driver (upon exiting the vehicle) that there is still an occupant inside. They could use pressure sensors in the seat cushions, just like they had in 1974 when the NHTSA implemented the seat-belt interlock system that wouldn't let you start the car unless front seat occupants were buckled up...Warning could just be blowing the horn, same as anti-theft. Also if vehicle has temp gauge (climate, not the one for the engine) & power windows, have them automatically roll down if temp is above 80 & someone still inside.....kids are required to be buckled up or in car seats that themselves are buckled up, so if you kill the vehicle & exit it with a belt still strapped, alarm sounds..... Of course it would be easier if people would think & weren't so preoccupied..... use motion detector for pets. Just an idea. Discuss
