If it pops again, here is the proper way to install.
1. You have to file around the edge of the plug to smooth the surface, can't have burrs and high areas.
2. You have to use a sticky sealer. I use Permatex Indian Head Gasket Shellac Compound. It's sticky and it resists antifreeze.
3. Expand the plug by striking it with a blunt drift or 3/4 steel rod and hammer.
