I have a pop up truck camper Palomino 1251 (i think). Its about 1600 to 1700lbs and I use it in my 5.7 Dodge Ram. It is not a camper you want to live in for sure but for what it is, its pretty nice. We use it on long trips like we are doing in couple weeks of about 1500 miles. We travel and stay at different campground usually every nite. Its really good for that. My camper has the fridge, stove, sink and toilet and queen bed...I would rather camp than sleep in motel....I know who has been in my bed! This camper has the "tuck in" style canvas and is a little aggravating putting it up when its 90 plus degrees! but it only takes a few minutes....just a minor inconvenience. We like it.
