I stripped a 60 D100 on saturday, and while doing so, I kept close attention to what tools I used, and I found that there was one tool I was missing from the Ultimate Junkyard Toolkit.
That was a tool to remove the headlight and wiper switches on PG Dodge trucks.
I belive that 61-71 trucks use some switches with the same nut.
What tool do you guys use? How would you make a tool that would work quickly, and not damage the nut?
I ruined one by using a pair of pliers, and I have ruined them in the past using a screwdriver.
I was thinking of using a thick walled pipe, and filing down the end until I had two little knubs to fit in the holes in the nut.
But that may not work.
Any thoughts?
Check this URL to see the switch and nut seperate.
