This is the Buda bottle jack I found. I can’t find anything like it on the internet. It is not one of their RR jacks. I believe it may be from the early 1950’s as it had a lot of the original orange paint left on it. The were painted orange after Allis Chalmers bought them out in the early 50’s. However, AC was fairly quick in removing the Buda name and putting their name on products.
I leak tested the jack by lifting a trailer and left it for a couple hours. It did fine, so I wire brushed it the removed any surface oil with brake cleaner then hit it with some orange paint that has been in my garage for years. It is currently under my trailer as I am repacking bearings and etc.
