I was able to sandblast and paint the cowl lights, assemble and install them. I did solder a ground wire onto the socket that holds the bulb. Now all the lights work including cab clearance lights and the original spotlight that was mounted when I got the truck. It was nice to be able to do this work while my parents enjoyed feed the chickens or sitting under the patio umbrella
