I ma surprised you dont get better mpg with the sl6. mine got 14.7 to 17 with single rear wheel 19.5s and stock bed. my poly trucks get 10 to almost 15 depending on how much lead in my shoe an any given day.
maybe the idaho fuel is different. it does vary region to region
