I use a aviation sheet metal tin snip. On the face of the seal use the snips and make a cut as deep into the seal as possible. Move over about 1/2 inch and make another cut. The 1/2" area will bend up with pliers. Now take large vise grips and get a good hold on the bent up tab. Now just pull back on the vise grips and the seal will elevate up and out.
I used to drill 2 holes and use a slide hammer with a sheet metal screw in the holes.
This new method is much quicker and works like a charm.
