The early one ton WDX style Power-Wagons had a molded rubber mat on the left and right sides of the cab floor. There was a small diamond checkered pattern with a smooth border all the way around the out side edges. There was a fiber backing adhered to the underside of the mats. The mats were secured to the cab floor with straight slot pan head sheet metal screws and finishing washers to prevent the the screw heads from pulling through the rubber mat. They were rather good looking and were well made. It would be great is they could be reproduced.
The later model WM-300's with the 251 engine and NP 420 transmission had a one piece floor mat that covered almost the entire cab floor including the transmission cover. The were not a lovely sight and were lumpy looking as they were not well molded. They were not of the same quality as the early ones and did not last very well. The one piece design made removing the floor boards a real pain and the mat was often damaged in the process and then the mat was thrown away.
