Drive shaft clearance, Tranny to Transfer Case?

So I'm digging in doing all the bits I'm going to need to do to pull out the gearbox and I notice that the driveshaft between the gearbox and the transfer case is -almost- touching the frame cross member. Are these supposed to pass really really close to one another? Or is my rusty old carryall body sagging into its own driveline?
