This issue is not miles, it's oil separation. Put it in your grease gun, let it set for several months and see if the oils separate, if they do, don't use it. I've tried most of them that way, and have eliminated most of them. I've found a grease that doesn't do that and that's what I'm planning to use in my knuckles later this spring.
