So in my previous post I said I found two washers that amount to 16th of an inch inside the cap that presses on the spring in the relief valve. That would account for a higher oil pressure. I started it today with a 0 to 150 psi oil gage and upon startup it read 100, I watched it slowly go down to about 30 psi when the engine was fully warmed. When bliping the throttle it will go up to 45-60 psi. So I consider it fixed. I'm running non detergent 30 weight in it and think if I was able to get 10/30 in non detergent that would cure the initial cold start high pressure issue? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
