I used a bicycle inner tube cut to fit between the fender and bed. The running boards I had linex on so I bolted them down to the wood. And the weather strip holes are already there from your old weatherstrip. I bought new nails tried one and it stated in hard so I bought some small phillips head screws and they went in good and they are easy to take out
