Retired! Sheesh pal...I work harder now than ever. I hate not being busy so I've been a Carpenrer all my life & actively involved restoring heritage homes for more than 30 years. I had a company that builds fancy new homes offer me a job & I decided it would be a change of pace.
It's been great but lots of 12hr days.
Jerry H will vouch...it's great building & working with wood but it's a young mans game. It's exhausting man.
Doing a little finishing inside a kitchen or renovating a bathroom is a piece of cake but building homes is 90% ugly jobs on your hands & knees in the rain.
I love it...but it's not easy work man! :)
