The 3D printed stuff doesn't like heat much. Under the hood its probably not going to cut it. My thought was to make a block of wood, maybe 8-10 inches long 1" x 1/4". Drill holes in the fat side then slice it lengthwise. Kinda' like a large version of the passthrough on the firewall. Just something to keep 'em separated and sorted. It doesn't even need to be anchored. Just clamped to the wire set.
Test ran it with the new cap-roter & wires (Midwest original spec.). Seems to have cleared up the roughness I could hear, especially lugging in low RPMs. I'll have to run it more to make sure.
Right now its headlights. But I'll start a new thread for that one.
