This is with the new head, the old injectors I machined down to 7mm from 9mm, the one off idler pulley to provide 2 inches more room up front, new shroud and over flow container. A few minor glitches but all were easy fixes. I had to pressurize the fuel tank again. Which amounts to sticking an air hose and plastic diaphragm over the filler neck and pushing fuel to the lift pump. I pumped the hand leaver but could not get fuel to flow.
The engine stopped making tappet noises - once I put the pyrometer probe back in the exhaust manifold.
