pretty noisy with the massive air cooled fan. dodge built aircooled 3/4 ton 4x4 prototypes after WW2 to replace the WC. there were opposed 6 cylinder continentals. those were too noisy as well.
kinda cool tho. water proof disk brakes, and independent 4 wheel suspension. it was too expensive so we ended up with the M37 instead
