Nah, not really reliably. It can do it, but you'll be stressing the ball joints, housing, steering etc in a heavy manner. Not to mention the minute you put it into 4wd you'll be buying new stub shafts. Afterall, the Dana 44 and modern Jeep Wrangler share U-joint sizes!
