In a fit of nostalgia 17 months ago, I pulled my Granddad's '48 PW out of the field where it had been sitting for decades. Just for starters, it had a siezed engine, rotted tires, and unuseable wheels. After a lot of work, it has wheels/tires, and an engine that started immediately the first time I tried. Last week was an epic moment!
I wouldn't have gotten here without this forum and the people I've met here. Particularly, David Buehn, Ric Tudor, and VPW for helping me find good parts. Clint Dixon and Phil's Archive for having documented a wealth of knowledge. Todd Somers (no relation) for patiently answering the rest of my inane questions.
I've got a long way to go, but it doesn't seem nearly as scary anymore. Thanks.
