Here is an older photo of the installation. The ugly hole in the valence in NOT necessary to install the motors. I'm going to take better pictures tomorrow.
The opening in the valence does not need to be altered in any way, and the wiper motor covers do not hit the motor. The roof seam inside the valence needs to be trimmed a little to allow clearance for the wiper transmission, and the hole for the wiper shaft needs to be enlarged to 5/8".
There are 2 screws that need to be installed into the face of valence, to stop the reaction movement when the wipers are on.
