Okay I see where you are going. I just had to get my head around the whole 6x6 thing.
I think by nature while tuning a corner in a 6x6, each tire on the front tandem is going to be rotating slightly faster than the respective tire on the rear tandem because the front assembly is traveling around a larger turning radius than the rear assembly.
Since each drive shaft exits the transfer case through a different gear cluster, I think that would mean that (in a 6x6) there is always going to be some binding as just the nature of the beast.
However, I don't think that the addition of a LockRight, All-Trac, or Detroit positive locking device would cause this binding to be any worse that with open differentials. The outside axle on each tandem is going to unlock during a turn. The inside axles will not unlock and should be rotating at the same rate of difference in respect to each other as they have always been.
I think the Bob Jones had lockers in one or more axles on his 6x6. Maybe he can chime in.
