Those adapters/spacers are same as the the ones I purchased, and we spoke about, a number of years back. They are not used with standard PW wheels as stated. Spacer is bolted to drum using the standard PW lug nuts. TWO dually wheels are then installed using standard 'Budd' nuts. The spacer moves the inner wheel out far enough to clear the brake drum. Accomplishes the same as 'shaving' the drum like you did. Unfortunately, one of mine was lost in shipment making the other one useless. Never have items shipped in multiple packages.
