There seems to be a few varnishes that stand above the rest in their ability to withstand weather. There are multiple factors but one very important one is how much of the UV blocker/stabilizers are present.
My choice earlier this year was to purchase Pettit Z-spar Flagship.
Other high quality varnishes for exterior use:
Epifanes
Interlux Schooner No. 96
Pettit Z Spar Captain's
Regardless of product, getting the best results involves knowledge, practice, proper preparation steps, multiple coats, etc. Perhaps read up on the process on a wood boat site like woodenboat.com.
