I was born before there were Dodge VC series 4x4's.

I remember getting out of class to go straighten coat hangers for WWII scrap drives. There was a correct way to open and fold tin cans, too. Who else remembers the blackouts and air raid wardens? Aluminum was a strategic metal and I still think "traitor" when I see someone who does not recycle.

How about those of us who were smart enough to wear a baseball cap with the bill in front to shade our eyes from the sun.

Oh! Oh! There I go rambling. I'll quit before I start drooling from the corner of my mouth.
