If you use the 6AT you will have to do a lot of cutting and redesign to get it into the PW engine compartment. Then you will have to respring it to take the additional weight. Then ... It would be much easier to put in a 4 cylinder. Charlie is the resident expert and has often commented on deisel engine swaps.
