Bleed your brakes again. Also check the adjustment of both front brakes. I would also take off the drums and see if the one side is leaking a little fluid. I would clean the drum and shoes with a good brake parts cleaner. I did all of the above one time with no effect, Come to find out that the previous owner only replace the shoes on one side sice the brake cylinder leaked. He gace me the other set of shoes. I put them on. Problem solved. THe lining material was different.
THe steering problem needs some investigation. Put the front end on jacks and have someone turn the wheel while you look around up front. Look for loose bolts on the steering system. Check to see if one of the bolts holding the steering box to the frame has backed out and is rubbing on the pitman arm. Look everywhere. If the sound goes away when on blocks put it back on the ground and have someone turn the wheel again. Keep looking and listening. Also grab the tires and shake them left to right and top to bottom. listen and feel for clunking sounds or looseness.
