Here's the thing I've learned from all the projects...if a part is a little buggered or a lot buggered...it's the same result...it needs replacing. If a hood needs a new hinge spot welded in or it looks like a canoe...it needs to be replaced with a rust free California hood which is cheaper than the replacement hinge anyway.
We'll get her back swivelling...just remember, the bigger the project, the more rewarding when it's done.
This is like a baby project compared to the Autocar!
