I rebuilt mine a few months ago. I ran a bunch of weld beads across the face of the race to get it to shrink. They all fell right out of the castings.
There is no rebuild manual. Set the preload on the shaft bearings to 0.000"-0.004". No more or you will damage the bearings as the shafts warm up. Set the gear lash to 0.006"-0.012". I set mine to 0.006" on my NP435 and it runs super quiet.
