L29736 is after L21420 which is the serial number the parts book lists as the change from a semi floater to a full floater.

So go to the auto parts store and ask them to look up a 1958 W200 rear axle as the full floater in the late W100 matches the axle that's in the rear of the a W200 and that way there is no chance of getting the parts for a semi floater.
