I agree. Years ago I saw an FC170 with a camper going through hood river, Oregon. it just looked fun. Never found one at the right time/price but I do see them for sale every year or so. Pretty straight unrestored 150 was on Portland CL recently for $5.500. Gone now.
Here's a pretty clean 170, little pricey for me but looks better than any I've seen in person.
