OT: Caterpillar 30 serial# location Help

I finally broke down and bought a "kitten" that belonged to a friends father. It is a Caterpillar 30 tractor. Judging by the logo on the rad, it was made between 1925 & 1930, as the logo changed in 31. Does anybody know where the serial # is located on one of these old things??, Or any other way to date it from casting marks, etc??
