Fresh, dry coffee grounds. Open a can of ground coffee and spread it all over like your sowing a wheat field by hand. I've never seen a smell that this can't take out. Cheap too. I had a garage that I had to take back from a band of feral cats, raccoons & a skunk. The cats were living in the rafters, the raccoons were hittin' the kitty food every night and the skunk? I think it just liked crashing parties. Blocked the holes, spread coffee everywhere and in no time at all. Smelled fine. Kinda' like a coffee shop. Almost made you want to talk about books using long words.
My current shop had been sealed up with pot smoke & incense pumped into for years. Same deal. Plug the holes, spread coffee and now it smells fine. Well, until more gets pumped in. Pot's just nasty smelling stuff. I never liked incense much either.
Anyway, its a cheap experiment.
