That would surprise me as Divco used 4 cylinders(38HP). I believe the first 6 cylinder was around 1950 and was a Hercules, later they used a Nash sourced 6 banger. Doesn't seem like a step up to me. The Lug pattern and difference in gear ratios would make it a pain as well. By the numbers I'd think there would be more M37's and their parts, than milk trucks.
