If your truck originally had 5.83 gears, but was equipped with 4.89's at the time the speedometer said 55 mph, and you did not correct the speedometer for the gear change, and were running 9x16 tires, then you were actually going 65.6 mph. Must have been on flat ground or downhill, I would guess?
