A bobbed frame clears the bed as it dumps too.
This is rather typical for a dump box install.
My '55 F-500 was bobbed to fit a 13' dump bed grain box on the (originally) 15' rear frame rails. The pivot is not quite at the rear-most section of the bed. So, relative to the pivot, the rear of the bed drops slightly as the front of the bed lifts. This design lets a rather short lift cylinder achieve a good dump angle.
