I have never heard nor seen any issue there. most cars and trucks are built that way stock. I have built many dual 2.5 inch inlet muffler to 3 inch outlet motorhomes and 1 ton truck systems. none came back with an issue like that. maybe use hangers with some flex instead of rigid mounting like the factory had.
