Actually that is correct. My truck is a '70s frame and running gear with a '66 cab.
There is a mechanic near me who used to do NAPCO conversions for Northern Lites Power Co. He put 1 ton front drive axles and Dana/Spicer transfer cases in 1 ton Ford trucks. A friend of mine has one. But the NAPCO unit does not have the same reputation as the Dana. My Dana 60 has closed knuckles. Around the mid-70s they started using open knuckles.
