There is no pic of the passenger side of the engine. A pic from that side would let me be more certain about the particular version of the 3.9 Hercules used in this Carryall. From the driver's side the only clue I see is the intake manifold and that style of intake manifold I have seen on the 85HP version but not the 105HP version, though it could have been swapped on. The injectors between the two versions are externally identifiable but I don't see a pic showing the injectors.

I owned two of the 85HP Hercs. It seems they cannot be upped to the 105HP level via turbo/pump/injector swap because they don't live. I talked to Charlie about his attempt to do so. A quick failure of the engine was the result, possibly because the lower rated Hercs lack the piston cooling oil jets. Atleast that's what Paul at MARS had to say about it. That was one difference among others between the two versions.

Anyway, 85HP at ~2600 rpm I recall. With those numbers highway speeds are not happening for a Carryall.
