No need for decals on a vintage vehicle. Not as many sign painters as there used to be but they are out there. Auto body guys and big truck shops will often have contact info for a sign painter. My dad was a sign painter and my brother took it up - my dad still helps out on pictorials and mountain scenes on log trucks around here but he doesn't letter much anymore. My brother charges about the same as a vinyl shop - simple speed-lettering for a pickup can be under $100, goes up from there depending on how fancy someone wants it.
