There are surely a few sign painters left in the world. You live in a big enough area where you should be able to find one. Try Google, or maybe check with your local paint store or auto body shops (probably not the one who is supposed to be painting your door) or auto parts stores. Someone should know someone who knows someone...
I had my work truck doors painted back in the '60s for $35.00. :) Probably add a zero to that now.
