Sounds like the machine shop that did the work on my 340 motor. I made the mistake of saying I wasn't in a big hurry because the guy is good and is a nice guy, and I knew I'd get a top notch job. Two years later after stopping by and getting the same old story he finished. Just like Manny said, never go into a project without a definative timeline and include how much things will cost. I was shocked when my guy told me how much I owed him for all the work, it was much more than I had anticipated, but he claims it's the going price for a stroked small block 340. I could have bought a 360 crate motor for thousands less than this motor cost me.Live and learn.
