Here is my carryall. It was painted with PPG products. The final color is a PPG single stage paint. I hate clear coats. I have used clear coats on my son's car and it is a real pain to blend in any repairs plus it will haze or peel much quicker than a single stage paint.

It was my first restoration and done in my garage. I have a good friend who is a great body and paint guy. He would show me what to do then come back in a week to check on me and teach me more. I did all the body work, priming and wet sanding. He shot the final color with me helping. The key to a great paint job is what's under the final color. The final color only covers what is there.
