I had studes for a while. The dist. is in back and the intake has no water through it. The engine will have a pn # where a 440 does. If it starts with a V it would be a 259, a P would be 289.
Same blocks. The 62 and latter had a spin on oil filter. There are 232"s also that are older, 51' and up. Hope this helps. Ray
