Our local fire department had/has a W300 about the same year (late '70s) with dual rears. I think it is a 360/4sp, with PTO winch. It had been an emergency response vehicle (kinda like an off-road ambulance) but has since been converted to a brush-fire type buggy.
This truck was bought new by the VFD.
