Given your choices I'd opt for the flex fan. It's a poor man's clutch fan. Do you have room to run a clutch fan with a 6 or 7 blade fan? That would be the best choice if you've got the clearance. If necessary you also might want to consider an aftermarket fan shroud. Do you intend to run a pressurized cooling system? There is an interesting article with pictures in the "Glove Box" Chryslers have a tendency to run a little hotter than GM's or Fords, so I'd want all the cooling capability I could get on an as needed basis. Did you ever find the marine distributor? See you in the spring!
