1954 M-37 VIN

Looking at obtaining a '54 that has less than 3000 Miles but stored outside has some rust in the rear cab corners but solid otherwise. Ran when parked 4 yrs ago. I'm wondering if the plate riveted next to the glove box is the VIN can't find anything else?!
