However if you must use the braden, make sure to use line blocks to double up on line pull and pull not directly, but in a v shape or L shape pattern using the blocks especially with smaller diameter stumps..they shoot out real good when broken free!! Depending on Tree species (lateral roots/ more vertical root systems) If you use a little muscle power cutting lateral roots surrounding the stump center it shoul;d release much easier..
