I just brought in a '56 DeSoto Firedome parts car. It had been sitting in NY since '74. I stuck a battery in it and it runs pretty good.
This is a 330 cu in hemi V-8 2 bbl carb with 230 HP. Attached is a Powerflite which also seems to work.
